This project introduces an Internship Management System integrated with a Job Recommendation Portal designed specifically for students seeking internship and early career opportunities. Developed using Laravel, MySQL, and JavaScript, the system allows organizations to post internship/job openings while students can apply, track their status, and receive personalized recommendations based on their skills, academic background, and interest areas.
The platform aims to bridge the gap between students and companies by offering a structured platform where applications, company profiles, and recommendations are handled digitally. With intelligent matching logic, students receive internship suggestions that align with their strengths, improving placement chances and career development.
The system functions as a multi-user platform where colleges, companies, and students interact. Students create profiles, upload skills, and browse available internships. Companies can post openings, manage applicants, and review profiles. The system also includes a recommendation engine that matches students to relevant opportunities based on their academic performance, skills, and selected categories.
